I am wondering if anyone from the Uk can give me some advice.
I am making myself feel so stressed with this worry.
This morning I received a phone asking me to attend a work focus interview a week on Tuesaday. I have been claiming Incap.. benefit for three years and I am also claiming DLA. I have a car with the motability scheme.
I am so worried they will try and send me to work. I worked ten yrs as a health care assistant. I really worked hard and it was a very hard decision to make when I gave up work.
Some days I cannot even get out of bed because of the joint pain and fatigue. Pericarditis flares up when I am stressed.
I am so stressed at the moment.
Could anyone please advise me or as anyone from the Uk been in the same position.
Thank you in advance

Wendy xx

If you are on High Care Rate you are exempt. You are obviously on at least High Mobility so I don't think you will have problems. I am written off completely but one of my family had an interview like this and it was fine.
Take a friend if you feel it would help.
Be thinking of you,

hi this interview is perfectly normal just like filling the forms in all they are doing is making sure you are unfit for work i have them every three years i have just had to fill in a form which i passed i will be looked at again in 2010 just be honest with them as to your state of mind and the physical problems you have you;ll be fine good luck x
