I just wanted to share that I received a letter from the Congress of the U.S. about Lupus.
In the letter he says that he had an opportunity to meet with Dr. Katz, the Director of National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, which is the lead for federal biomedical research efforts related to Lupus.
He included a phamplet from the National Institue of Health that is an overview of the disease and the latest research efforts.
Also included was a CD-ROM by the NIH about Lupus and Lupus Research.
He says Lupus remains a major focus for the House of Appropriations Committee which he serves on.
So I thought I would share that with you. It was very nice to get this in the mail. I guess I must have sent something in about it. I get these emails to send a letter regarding Lupus research to this person or that person and I always do.
