    Has anyone heard about this drug? I stumbled on it while googling for "lupus" and "valium".

    I don't think they've proven any effectiveness in humans yet. I haven't had time to really dig into it (and frankly, it's over my head). But it sounds like they've used it in mice with SLE and had much success. And I think they also used it on live cells (petri dish, I guess).

    Unfortunately, it seems like progress is sooooo slow. The first article I read about it was dated back in 2002. The most recent one I found was 2016 (and they're just now getting around to live cells). I'm not even sure if they're human cells.
