    Hey guys,

I've joined lupussite new and also diagnosed recently with SLE - had DLE before with ANA tests negative and recently the ANAs have begun showing positive in tests :(

Anyhow, I was looking for the most experienced doctors in my area to consult and found this:
    http://www.lupus.org.uk/contact/find-a-specialist

Hope this would be of use to some of you here. Also in case you are consulting a specialist as well and he/she is not yet listed, please add their names to this list or in the thread.

Hi Dhiv and :welcome: to the site,

Thanks for sharing that link :)

Sorry for what brings you here, but I am glad that you found us here. I had DLE before I had SLE too. How are you managing your lupus?

Be sure and have a look around our main site - it's full of information about lupus. https://www.thelupussite.com.

Looking forward to getting to know you.

    Take care,

    Thanks Nellie! :)

I am now on Plaquenil treatment (having 400mg everyday) to keep things under control. The only tests that changed so far have been the ANA ones, so I'm still trying to discover other ways of confirming if the DLE has converted into SLE indeed. Can u suggest any other tests which u have done?

Also the first time I was diagnosed with DLE my doctor was pretty confident that chances of it becoming SLE were very slim. But in a period of 5 years, it has changed. So Im a bit worried how to keep things under control from here.

How many years after DLE were you diagnosed with SLE?

    Cheers,
