Well first things first just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone on this site. It's been 18 months since I started treatment for my "Mild" Lupus and I have found this site invaluable. Everyone is so helpful and supportive and at times I have felt so isolated and lonely then I come on here and reading everyone's posts or replies to my own threads such a lifeline.
So a huge thanks to Joanne for starting this in the first place, and to all the moderators too. Also to all the members who make this lupus gig far much more easier to deal with knowing your not alone!
Secondly I convinced my bosses that we should become a training centre for Vet nurses (as we always have a problem recruiting probably because we are out in the sticks). Just over a year ago we were approved (that was pretty stressful) and one of the vets and myself started our A1 Assessors award training. We handed in our portfolio's in December and I received an email from our tutor yesterday to say we had both Passed and are now qualified Assessors YEAH!!!:yahoo::woohoo:
So just wanted to share this with you all!
