Has anyone ever tried accupuncture to relieve the symptoms of Lupus.

I have had accupuncture in the past, but it was for injuries and worked a charm for aches and pains and even a back injury. Made me really relaxed and calm. I have not had it recently and wondered if there was anyone else who has had it with a Lupus Diagnosis and benefited from it.

Your link dosen't work for me Lily :)

I tried acupuncture before I was diagnosed, for terrible pains in my hands, it didn't help me, & this was just a couple of months prior to dx, so I'm not sure if it was because of the Lupus that it didn't help.

Thanks Shera, for some reason it doesn't work for me either today! Whisper you can pull up past posts on Acupuncture by using the search facility which is all that I did :)

Yes I have had acupuncture for almost a year and it definitely made a difference. I had less pain, more mobility, less symptoms, better sleep, bowel function and more energy.

I would recommend it. My girl was trained in Korea. I don't know if that makes a difference.

I forgot to mention that It takes time. One visit won't do it. You have to commit to it for at least six months to see the best results.
