First off, what do you mean the test results are lost? Just your doctors office lost them? What about the actual lab that produces the results? I would get a copy from there if you can. I know here that you can go and get a copy yourself.
I would ask this doc "where is my blood tests" and maybe write your questions down on a paper. I did this once with a doctor who was kind of like that and because I would forget or be embarrassed to ask. I gave him the paper with my few questions on it and he addressed them one by one.
You deserve to have answers and if this doc cannot help you then ask who can.
