Hello all

I'm having a severe outbreak of mouth ulcers:( and the rhemuie nurse said patients had recommmneded using Aloclear but wasn't able to tell me where to get it. I asked my doc and Boots the chemist but no luck. Has anyone heard of this? If so, is it any good and where do you get it!!! In (the UK)

Thanks

Hi Rachel,

I googled this and couldn't find it. Could she have meant Adcortyl - this is a paste which you can now buy in Boots without prescription. I just get my GP to add it to my list when I need my meds.

Adcortyl is a gunky paste but very effective.

Hi Rachel

I did a bit of googling and it seems to be spelt 'Aloclair'

http://www.aloclair.co.uk/

Interestingly it says it can be bought in Boots, Lloyds Pharmacy and other independent pharmacies. You can also buy it online according to their website.

I havent used it so cant recommend it but it sounds like its worth a try. Sorry to hear about the mouth ulcers. They make one really miserable dont they? :hugbetter:

Luv n stuff
