Hello everyone.

I posted a couple weeks ago about a swelling in the crease of my left arm. I thought it was a swollen lymph node. Last Friday I went to a Hematologist and he really did not seem concerned when I showed it to him.

Well, the swelling has gone down and it is almost back to normal.

2 days ago I woke up and my left wrist was hurting so bad. I just thought I slept on it wrong yet when I looked at it the bone on the outside of the wrist was visibly swollen and so was the area around the bone. The pain is excruciating.

Does ANYONE else ever experience issues like this where body parts swell and in some cases cause pain and then return to normal? The area is never red or hot to the touch, just clearly swollen.:eek::eek:

I have a swelling inside my arm at the elbow on the left side and a swelling on my lower right arm. Told the docter and they said it was fatty lumps, but the go down and up, they can also go very red and sore. I also this on the right side of my face, no explanation. Hope you get and answer, good luck.

Hi Karol,
I had a swelling on my wrist, a few months ago, it was a hardish lump that felt like the bone was swollen and was around the bone, it came up very quickly, it was there for a couple of months and then went away.I went to the doc and he said it was a ganglion cist which occurs when fluid friom the joint leaks out and goes hard forming a lump.
The doc said it was nothing to worry about and they can sometimes burst on their own which mine did.
I hope you get this sorted out soon.

I put in a link in about ganglions, actually most of them look really tiny compared to mine, it was the volar type and about the same size as the last picture.

Take Care

Good Luck

Thanks Lynn and Cassie.

I have had the fatty lumps and ganglion cysts in the past yet this is quite different. I am not sure what it is but certainly I appreciate your replies here.

I hope your both doing well.
