Does the appearance of the rash mean you are flaring? I have consistant symptoms with lupus ( mild kidney involvement, joint/muscle pain. brain fog etc) but it is there whether I have the rash or not. Being a redhead. even without lupus, I'm sensitive to the sum. My job requires a lot of driving so I have sun exposure that way on a sonsistant basis. Living in Michigan have this hard, hard winter this year, I prefer the rash and sun to the ice, snow and cold:rolleyes:. (ok it has only been one day of warm weather so far followed by severe thunderstorms but it was nice while it lasted)

Hi JoD,

I do not get the typical rash but I can tell you lately my stress level has been very high and yes, the redness is more apparent.
