My sister who is being evaluated by her rheumatologist had the AVISE test for lupus done. Does anyone know anything about this test? Would appreciate your input.
Hi .. it seems like it is a new bundle of bloods for Lupus testing...the results take around 7 days according to this information but it is not well known yet.
It is called theAviseSLEtest. It measures five different substances: antinuclear antibodies, double-stranded DNA antibodies, anti-mutated citrullinated vimentin antibodies (MCV), complement receptor 1 levels on erythrocytes (E-CR1), and complement C4d levels on erythrocytes (E-C4d).
