Hi all,
Went to see my Family Dr on tuesday, He's given me Athrotec to help with pain. Starting to feel a difference already with the pain, YIPPEE
Has anyone else been on this drug.

On cloud 9 at the moment, i'm still very fatigued, not alot i can do about that just sleep ( what a lovely thought )

Hi Sandra,

Thats great you are noticing some difference, it's a non steroidal anti-inflammatory medication. There are a lot of different ones out there and we probably cover the full range here between us all

You will probably notice even more difference during this next week, NSAIDS take up to 2 weeks to reach their full effect.

The Dr told me it could take up to 2 weeks, i still get pain which usually kicks up in the evenings, after i've been to work.
But it is a lot less than it was, and it makes a big difference in how i feel over all, i still get fatigued but while i'm at work i seem to have more energy, and the lack of intense is wonderful.
Can i have a beer with this drug as i like to, not often when we go out.

I guess they have told you it's crucial to not take these on an empty stomach?
A beer or two should not be a problem, just don't go overdoing it :rotfl:

My stomach is not good at the best of times, since having my gall bladder removed.
So i am taking them with food without fail.
