I receieved a copy of my medical records from my dr today. On ALL of the lab results the Neutrophils and WBC are high other things are high and low on different ones but those 2 things are consistenly high on each one. I do not know what this means if anything. I was also reading through the notes the dr wrote and half of the stuff he wrote he never told me about. When I asked each visit how my blood test looked he said fine. When I asked about a symptom I was having he said "its the lupus." As far as I know I only have SLE but he put wrote a letter to my primary care dr stating that I may also have lupus nephritis. Can anyone shed some light on what these mean?

Hello missi

There are lots of possible reasons for a high neutrophile count and a high WBC. It is up to the doctors to work out what they might mean in your case, looking at symptoms and the results of other tests.

Lupus nephritis means that the kidneys might be affected. This would be indicated in urine tests and certain blood tests. I hope your GP will explain the concerns more clearly. Let us know what he says

All the best
