Hi:

I cannot respond for myself as I have not been referred to one, however my husband has a several degenerative disks in his spine. Recently they have been pressing on nerves that impact his ability to use his arm.

His Ortho referred him to pain management, they met with him, worked oiut some exercises, gave him a series of Cortizone shots, some anti-inflammatories and some anti-spazmatics and he has been so very much better.

The combination knocked the pain right out of him. Now I don't know what they would do with one of us...lol, how can you fix a pain that isn't always in the same place? of the same kind or intensity? and isn't always definable as to the cause?

But nothing can hurt worse than the pain we suffer, so why not try?

Good Luck - Stephanie
