It's a very useful summary and will help those suffering allergies to avoid wasting time on dubious treatments.

Over the years I have met several people on line who feel their lupus was triggered or worsened by de sensitising treatments especially injections.

The repeated attacks of hives for which they sought treatment were almost certainly the first sign of lupus . Of course very often the first signs of lupus are mistaken for some other condition in orthodox medicine too, even by good practitioners.
I'm sure those with lupus or suspected lupus will be helped.

is it possible that a Neg ANA will turn positive?
My Rheumy saiys it is most unusual for a female with NEG ANA to have LUPUS but he is considering UC Vasculitis and that the treatment for both is same....... I am waiting for a viable blister to be biopsied.... it can only be done in my GP's office MON - Thursday in the AM.... wish my blisters knew the day and time (grin) they arrived when it was not possible to have the biopsy done for immunoflurescence (?sp) NEXT TIME !
