Hi There,
Prior to being diagnosed with lupus, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and put on medications for 2 or 3 years. I went into remission, and was diagnosed with lupus 3 years later - My doctors have told me that it was directly related to my lupus...at least in my case. Since being treated for lupus, I have not had any colitis flares . (fingers crossed!)
