Good morning everyone.

I was diagnosed 3 years ago with SLE/Sjogrens and Livedo retucularis. I recently had a review at St Thomas's and today received a copy letter which was sent to my dr. I just want to know what the following means :-
Diagnosis : SLE/Sjogrens Syndrome - seronegative
Livedo reticularis

Does this mean that my SLE blood results were ok this time. Can anyone advise me. Thank you very much. xxxxxx

Hi Angie,

Can't help you much really! I did not think Lupus went away just goes into remission - but I'm certainly no expert!

I think (but not sure) that 'seronegative' is a term used in reference to antibodies not being present in bloods!

I'm sure someone will be along to give you more help!

I would personally phone the secretary of your consultant and ask for an explanation especially if your next appointment is not for a while!

Not sure is any of this helps!

Lesley
