Hello everyone,

Off and on for the last couple of years I have had chest pain (mostly on the right). It seems to be right under my breast most times, sometimes close to the middle of my chest. It doesn't hurt more when I inhale. X-rays were always negative. A pulmonary doctor I work with suggested it might be constochondritis.
What does that feel like? What can I do for the pain?

Hi Tammie,

Painkillers, Nsaids, prednisolone are things that may help!

All these 3 things can also be taken together, but you should be seeking GP/Specialist advice to help you get through these episodes!

Hi tammi, i suggest you go see your gp, when i had it i was put ontramadol and diazapan, it really hurts, mine was there dayand night, couldnt sleep lay down had to sleep sat up, but i knew it wasnt my pleurisy, dont ask why, there was jusat something different, if i sat fwd it didnt go, with my pleurisy if i bent fwd it would ease. So i would get checked out to be sure whats going on#
