I just made a mistake with my meds and took a diruretic instead of another tablet I normally take in the evening. Rats! Its my bedtime and I will probably be up half the night peeing......

That'll teach me to concentrate.....what a dope!

Hi Joan, Oh no...sorry to hear that. I have done that before. Now i have bought one of those tablet holders that has the day and times on it so i dont mix up !
I hope that you dont get up too much in the night and that your toilet is not too far away from your bed.

Yeah Sarah - the loo is not far from the bedroom. But methinks I might get myself a bucket for the night!:wink2:

Oh no! This is the last thing you need on top of the flooding ;)
It's so easy to make mistakes with meds though. I have a med sorter
too but stopped using it recently as I can now just take them all in the morning ;)

Hopefully there's some good TV or movies laying around your house in
case you can't get back to sleep after a trip to the bathroom!

Joan, all I could do when I saw your post was giggle nonstop! I think those of us on those blasted diuretics have done that at least once in our life! I take two different kinds and I accidently took mine on an evening that I was sooo tired, I fell asleep on the toilet! How embarassing. My hubby got a good chuckle.

Morning Sarah :)

The floods have subsided thanks ;) Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'wet dreams'..

Nancy, at one stage I was sitting on the loo and I just started laughing to myself. I think I was bordering on hysteria though. :hehe:

What an idiot! I wont be doing that again in a hurry....!

Cheers

It wears off after a few hours Sarah so normal service has resumed.....

Normal being more diruretics as soon as I get into work (and near the toilet in my office). I think I will write a book about my life on the loo. Im sure I do my best thinking there. I spend enough time there anyway!

You good folk have overactive imaginations !

It'll take me weeks to clear the mental picture from my mind.

"It will never be the same
Every time I see your name
I'll think of you
Esconced on loo "

What a thread to read first thing in the morning and wake up laughing...
Most unsympathetic aren't I?
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

P.S. I use a med sorter thing too. Even if I could take them all in the morning, everything in Belgium comes in these stupid blister pack things (apparently they do that to reduce the risk of people taking the whole lot in a go) so it would take ten minutes to get all the meds out first!

Our grannies knew what they were doing. It's time like that a gazunder would be handy :wink2:

Sorry for my complete ignorance but I didn't really have a grannie (one being dead and the other purely wicked)...what on earth is a gazunder? You have my mind doing all sorts of enquiring somersaults!

yes that's right gazunder i.e. a 'pottie' that goes under the bed :wink2: (that was in the days of the outside toilets - let's face it who would treck all that way in the middle of the night :hehe: ) I think the English might have called them a chamber pot?

ah yes indeed!! a chamber pot - never actually saw one until I arrived in the remote Ardennes here in Belgium :rotfl:

Glad to say my bathroom is next to my bedroom - well everything is next to everything else in this house!!

I have to agree with Clare on this one.:rotfl::rotfl:
It will take awhile to get the image out of my brain, of you all sitting on the loo.:p

Sorry you had to go threw this Joan.
