[confused1]

Tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon I'm headed to see the admirable Dr. B. and find out if he can do anything about my knee, which I have not poked a hole in but which has worsened. There is now a very hard knot just to the side of my kneecap that feels like it's stuck to the bone. And it all hurts.

While I'm there I'm going to ask for blood work. For more than two months I've been fighting horrid exhaustion and now the gremlins are once again littering the floor around my feet and I doubt whether I should be allowed to drive. My pain meds are about as effective as sucking a lemon drop for a strep throat. To top it all, I'm way over weight and I'm just plain ashamed of my inability to control my eating when I'm NOT on steroids.

I'm quite afraid I'll come home with another Rx for prednisone. But I'm at a place where, if that's what it takes then bring it on.

I'll let you guys know what happens. I just hope he drains this obviously pus filled bag on the front of my knee. Yuck. It hurts and looks bad too.

Hi Sunny,

I hope your appointment goes well today. You have really been through a pretty tough time lately so I hope that you will get some relief from that even if it does mean you have to take some prednisolone for a while.

That knee sounds most worrying but I am glad you didn't poke a hole in it!
