Hi all hope you are well went and had my eye's seen today as have been having problem's when reading i have to close one eye to read.She gave me a good eye test and said i had dry eye's she has given me eye tear's.Have the rhumy on the 11th next month so she said to tell him about it.Still of the plaque as liver test's are not back to normal have to get my blood's done every 4 week's.My next lot will be the full work's glad needles don't bother me

Hi Elisabeth,

Glad you finally went to the Opticians!

Artificial Tears are good for dry eyes, but also an extra one which is more oily (for night time)...Lubritears being one example!

What was the cause of losing sight in the one eye...I dont get sight loss with dry eyes myself the occassional bluring but no long term problems! Perhaps you need referred to a Ophtamologist Specialist just to check nothing else is going on...unless of course its just deteriating eye sight!

Its definately good to mention to your Rhuemi and extra symptoms you have and are being treated for!

Hi Elisabeth,

I hope you have seen an ophthalmologist too.

I have dry eyes too. I was told if left untreated it could affect my vision.
I use a couple different eye drops.(over the counter ones)

You are lucky that you like needles.:lol: They bother me, I cant :notlook:.:hehe:

They put punctual plugs in my tear ducts. Helps some but still have mornings when they are junked up.

Restatis for dry eyes

I have been going to an opthamalogist for years.
He has me on a prescription for dry eyes called Restatis. I use it twice a day.

I hope you get to see an opthamologist and get a good eye exam and see if he or she will prescribe a dry eye product.
