hello everyone.

i havnt been around for a while as i am still not very well.

i have a question for anyone who can help.

i had bloods done on the 3rd of nov this yr, for kidneys, liver, thyroid, they all came back normal but the only bloods outstanding was my full blood count.

today i was called to surgery to have another test done as i have EOSINOPHILIA showing up in my white cells, i think they said it was high.

has anyone had this show up before, ir so is it anything to worry about.

any insight i would truely be grateful, as this has scared me a bit.

Hi Jo,
I had this years ago,way before I even knew there was something going on.No cause was found and it resolved itself.I do know it's linked with allergic reactions or exposure to parasites ,otherwise I don't know anything else, sorry.

Hi Jo,

My son has a very high eosonophilia count and it's due to him being asthmatic and also the fact he is a very allergic individual. It just confirmed what we already knew and not much they can do about it I'm afraid.

I guess if none of those apply to you then they may look at whether one of your meds is causing this.

love
Lily
