Hi.

My eyes are aching and using them sort of hurts so I need to scrunch them up. Its making me feel nauseous. Is this a symptom? Does anyone else have this.

It did happen the first time my joints got really sore and I have been having more joint and muscle pain too.

Hi Wendy,

My guess is either a sinus headache or a migraine. Mine usually start in the eyes. Hope you feel better soon.

It could be a migraine or lupus headache - but it could also be lots of other things - have you checked it out with the opthamologist or optician? I get pain in my eyes - but I have sjogrens along with lupus and my eyes also get very dry and sratchy. You should get this checked out.

Wendy, I once read that some people with Lupus have reduced eye movement.
Before my symptoms were treated my eyes used to feel "stuck in my head". Wonder if this is similar to you.
