Hi! Glad your first dose went well - and yes you are worth it, and a whole lot more!!

I've not had rituximab, however as far as I am aware, you are not supposed to get pregnant whilst having the treatment and for a while after - I have read things which say for a year afterwards, but it may be reduced now there's more experience of it. This is definitely a question to ask your Rheumy/ Nurse Specialist.

Hope it works really well for you

Hi Helen,

Animal studies have shown adverse affects to the fetus. Studies have not been done on humans at this point. You would have to check with your rheumy to find out how long you would have to wait to become pregnant safely.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Take care,

I was told not to get pregnant for at least 12 months after the last drip.
