Hi Everyone

Yes it's me again. I need your knowledge and advice once again PLEASE.

A couple of weeks ago I started with a funny throat. I can't say it's sore cos it doesn't feel raw . It kinda feels like I have a lump or obstruction as I swallow on the right side?

Oh I know this sounds so odd that's why I've held off posting:lol:
Sometimes I begin to choke on the slightest amount of food or fluid and don't understand why. Also for the last couple of days it feels similar to heartburn but yet it's not coming from deep down just the area that feels a little strange in my throat.

Not sure I've made myself clear so feel free just to bypass this thread:lol:

I would go and have that checked out. Sometimes you could have a gland down there that you cannot see when looking down the throat. Did you try to look with a flashlight.

I had these little white puss balls in my throat way back there. It was from acid reflux. Once I took the meds for that, those little white things were gone. They did feel like something was in the throat.

when you are saying heartburn, it makes me think maybe something like that is going on.

But is worth your gp looking at. They can see somewhat down the throat.

My friend also had a pollyp down her throat with the same symptoms.

Another possibility would be a problem with the thyroid. There are quite a few possibilities for this and definite things your doctor can do to look for what might be causing it to help fix the problem. Definitely something to mention to the doctor at your next visit, especially if it lasts beyond a few weeks time.
