But is there anyone on the customary meds for lupus that is also on lithium? I am on lithium and I know that a lot of meds are contradicted with it. For example, you can't take NSAIDS without being monitored very carefully because it can increase blood lithium levels. Is there anyone who is on lithium and lupus drugs?

Hi,

You should always let your doctor know what other drugs you are taking. However doctors do make mistakes so you can also check with your pharmacist. The following are also some drug interaction sites online:
