GINGER AND LEMON TEA

1 Quart of Water 1/4 Cup Honey
Juice of 1 Lemon Thin slices of Lemon and Lime
1/4 Cup of freshly grated Ginger for garnish

Bring water to a boil. Add lemon juice, the squeezed lemon, and ginger. Let steep about 20 minutes. Stir in honey. Strain tea into a pitcher. Chill thoroughly and serve on ice with lemon and lime slices.

I've been keeping a pitcher of water in the fridge with lemon slices and lemon zest strips in it. It makes for a nice, refreshing drink. I don't put any sweetener in it, but you could, I guess.
[a local grocery had small lemons 2/1.00 so bought up a supply.]
As I pour water out of the pitcher, I add more back in. It lasts for about 3 days then I have to start all over again.
