I am with Dr Beverley Hunt. She has been working at St Thomas Hospital London. I first met her 14 years ago when I was first diagnosed and she is still there. She and Dr Hughes were the pioneers in Lupus.

I have to travel from the Isle of Sheppey kent to St Thomas in London.

I do feel humble though as people from all over the world. Ie USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland and all over the world travel to the lupus clinic in London. WHY??? Because it is the best clinic for Lupus in the world.

They understand every symptom and do not rely wholey on blood tests as they understand they are unreliable and do give a lot of false negatives.

Hi Debbie

Thank you for your help from the good ol'Isle - WHY ARE YOU AWAKE?!!!!

I'm only awake coz I've gotta be, working in the enchanted kingdom of Newham...well I say working - clearly I'm spending my night on various unauthorized web sites...go to bed bleary-eyes if you can!

How do you think I can ask my GP for a referral to Tommies? I suspect I'd be laughed out of the surgery!

Keep happy
Beth
