I do not have a diagnosis of lupus but I think I might have it. I was wondering if any of you have hair loss as a symptom of your lupus. The last couple of months my hair has started falling out. It has gotten much worse the last 6 weeks or so. I pull out at least 2 handfuls every time I shower and when I brush my hair I pull out at least 2 handfuls more. My hair falls out everywhere I go. I have long, black hair and there are hairs all over the floor in my house, on the seat of my car and all over my pillow. I used to have very thick hair so I don't think the loss is very noticeable to others yet but it is to me. I also have scabs on my head. This is a pretty common occurrence for me. I have about 6-8 scabs on my head and my head is itchy. Thanks for any info you can give me!
