Hi everyone.

This whole past week I have hand tingling and numbness feeling on my left hand only, mostly in my fingers.

I don't have carpul tunnel cause that nerve was removed in wrist surgery a long time back.

No elbow pinch. Just the numbess and tinglies. I look to see if Reynauds is acting up, but don't see the color change. I move this way and that to see if circulation and nothing helps it.

I suppose one of those things that may just go away? Or maybe just one of those strange things that happens.

Hello Helloos,

I get hand numbness all the time without color change.

It is usually my dominant hand but not always.

Somedays the hand does not even work as if the brain sends the message and the hand just wont listen.

Hope this helps.

Hi Paula, I don't know what is happening, but I have had several little things like that
happen to me, in my hands, feet, just fingers, part of my upper thies(sp). All I
can say is that I worry about it when it happens, then the next day I debate wether
or not to call my dr., then the third day it is completely gone. I really think it just one of those "Lupus Jokes" that our bodies like to do when it messes with our brains!!
If it lasts, deffinately call your Rheumy and have it put down in your chart, until
then, smile, we are here for you.

I too get the numbness and tingling even heavy feeling in hands feet and legs usually all right sided (pridominent side) I also get twitches in the same side which is something new to add to my list I am waiting on hearing from the doc she said she may send me to a neourologists!! (sp)
All my labs come up so flagged its hard to keep up and everything seems to be blamed on the initial diagnosis of lupus, I always think that something else is in the blood work and that they are just dismissing the flagged work as lupus related. Its great to be diagnosed so you know whats going on but then sometimes everything gets blamed on it and there is actually something else going on!! Go figure!!
