Welcome to the forum Keighs!
Many of the symptoms of lupus are rather vague and could be caused by any number of diseases. The blood work often indicates what might be going on and presumably there are signs that it could be an immunological problem of some sort.
It's hard to know what other useful comments to make. Presumably lupus has been mentioned as a possibility. It sounds as if you have looked up the most common symptoms and signs. Skin rashes can come and go and although pleurisy is common it isn't universal nor is any other symptom.
In your place I would find out what tests have been done because I'd want a better idea of what's going on and why I was being sent to an immunologist rather then a rheumatologist.
Let us know how we can help you further. I hope you don't have to wait too long before getting some answers.
Bye for now
