oh yes

Hi Fiona, I can relate to jelly legs! I do walk my dog every day but some mornings wonder if my legs are still there! They feel very strange and I wonder if it is my brain doing funny things or my legs...or my imagination:lol:
I also am not sure if any of the meds causes these side effects, it will be interesting to see what the others say.

ps.. my legs haven't collapsed yet though!

Hi Fiona and welcome :)

That sort of thing can happen with SLE, but for different reasons. Some need follow-up with a doc and some are things that aren't so worrying.

Have you been diagnosed long and what meds are you on right now?

I have jello like legs too. The weakness began before my diagnosis and before any meds so I know it isn't a side effect. The strange thing is that the weakness isn't consistent, it comes and goes several times a day - is worse in early morning and late night.

Hi Fiona,

:welcome:

Add me to the list. Mine began prior to being diagnosed.

You should definitely discuss your wobbly legs with you doctor. The cause needs to be determined so you can get the proper treatment. In the meantime you might use some type of aid to help you keep your balance.

Take care,

fiona,
Hi and welcome to the site. To answer your question I can only speak for myself, yes that happens to me a lot. It seems the longer the day goes on it gets worse. I hope you are feeling well and join us in the chat room soon to ask all those questions.

Hi Fiona

Funny you should ask this question as I also suffer from this and have just been put back on steroids for something else and after a couple of days my body feels stronger like it can support itself and I can stand without feeling as though I am going to fall. If that makes sense?

I would definitely mention ti to your doctor.
