hi guys

i swear everytime i think that i'm doing better i walk into a brickwall:wall: . i've been on IViG for six or eight monts and having been tell everyone (all four friends) and some of you guys that its helping.

got up sunday morning feeling alittle under the weather, nothing big, headache tight throat, didn't think much of it. then monday i realized it was a cold, fever, scratchy sore throat, runny most. yesterday same but with a runny stuffy nose, more fatigue, throat the same and then today...headache almost gone, throat tight and scratchy, nose stuffy and runny, hurt like the devil and now my chest/lungs hurt, kinda burny hurt sometimes. so wouldn't you think that would be enough?? well, lupus is feeling left out and my retarded immune system decided to rear it ****** head. rash starting on my little cheeks, my knee's are swollen, warm and hurt. i'm lite headed and kinda dizzy( insert joke here :p) my spastic jerky movements are more pronoued, actually had a bad one in the middle of the nite that woke me up. and just for giggles, i'm slightly nauseous. how come when i feel like i mite be getting alittle not much mind you just alittle better it punches me in the face. so i'm laying here on the couch cause my bedroom is upstairs and the thought of climbing them doesn't thrill me much. i've been taking cold meds and resting. i think i put a permantent dent in my in my sofa. and my lazy cats aren't doing the dishes or feeding themselves, geez i'm a mess.

well i guess i'll snoop around at some posting and put on an old cary grant and kathrine hepburn movie, maybe "the philidelphia story" and have a bowl of orange sherbert.

thanks for reading, hope you all are feeling better than i do at the moment

just hugs today no kisses, don't want you to get ill..:wink2:

Howdy,
I am so sorry for your challenges at the moment but you did my a great service when you wrote "my spastic jerky movements". These spazes have been one of the aspects of SLE that has cuased me the most concern (well, pain hurts more) because I do things where an unexpected spasm could be detrimental to someone or other, eg. ride a motorcycle, drive a car, teach Japanese swordwork (a spasm in the dojo could mean creating "student sushi":rotfl:). I find that these things will be several times a day then be gone for weeks. Lupus is always interesting, isn't it?
Hope you go into remission soon!

I have found out lupus doesn't like to get left out, it has to give you problems right along with a cold.:eek:hno:

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Spell binder,
Only you can feel so bad and still make jokes. How are we to believe you feel bad when all do is make us laugh about what is going on with you? Ok now that I managed to get off the floor. I am so sorry you are not feeling very well. I hope that your meds work out and that your nasty cold (for once you get the best of it) goes away soon. Let us know how you are getting along, and next time bring enough sherbert for the whole site lol.

I'm wondering if what you're experiencing is actual allergies. They've started very early this year and I myself thought I had a cold and then when I saw the trees were starting to bloom I started my allergy meds and things got better. Of course I ended up with a bronchial infection in the meantime because I got a clue too late. Maybe you should consider allergies if you have any history with them at all. You could save yourself several more days of misery and possibly an infection too.
