Hi Karen,

I've already gotten mine. I am hoping they guessed correctly when they made the vaccine this year.

Anybody that has been newly diagnosed or is on a new medication might also want to discuss with their doctor what type of over the counter medications they could take if they do become ill. Just because something is over the counter doesn't mean it is safe to take with all medications.

no fair Raglet,I Have now had a virus for three weeks. and I feel total miserable and want to be selfish and make everyone that doesnt have lupus feel my virus

for the ones without lupus and get over this. say " oh how nice to feel well again"

lucky them.
but I suppose I am being extra selfish as some people are more ill then I am . just complaining because I can :lol:

I am going to my primary care doctor today and will ask for the flu shot and the pneumonia shot too.

I just hope I don't get sick from them. My husband got the flu shot and got really sick from it.

I hope you are OK with the vaccine. A few people do feel a bit off for a day or two but the medical opinion is that this is preferable to the more probable serious effects of getting the flu.

Er .. I'll whisper this - Raglet is not Australian. Despite her claims to be from Planet Andromeda she's the other sort of antipodean, a New Zealander. I think it's rather like the Canada/USA business. :rotfl:
