I have had fibro for over five years and was on amitripline for that long
because I am taking a new med I was taken off amitripline three weeks ago

for the last two weeks I have become very dizzy when I stand up or move about, the more I move about or walk the worst it gets, to the point that I have to lay down with a cold cloth
I can't see my doctor till next Thursday

I was wondering if anyone else have this problem for fibro
perhaps I am flaring
maybe high blood pressure ?
any help would be great

Is dizziness a side effect or your new medication? It could be your body needs time to adjust.

I also wonder if it could be withdrawal symptoms from the Amitriptline. Just a thought.
