Dear June
Im so sorry that you received this news :worried: I cant imagine what must be going through your head right now.
Like Maia, my best friend was diagnosed with an aggressive breast tumour about six years ago with a very worrying prognosis. She too was taken into hospital within days of her diagnosis and had her breast and many lymph nodes removed. Like you, she chose not to have the reconstruction surgery at the same time and had it about two years ago.
Although the surgery and the chemo were tough on her at the time, she is absolutely great now, cancer free and still working full time. She says that at the time of her diagnosis she could never have pictured things would ever get better for her.
Its going to be a very difficult number of months ahead for you and your family. Make sure that you, or your husband, ask all the questions you need answered and seek whatever support systems are available to you. Here is a link to a site which gives information on breast cancer organisations in the UK. You might at sometime in the future like to look at it for information and support.

I will be thinking of you in the days ahead. Hope to hear from you when you are well enough and home from hospital. :hugbetter:
Much love and strength
