...feeling pretty ill right now due to my jaw swelling on one side (not sure whether abcess or something else but talk to dentist tom hopefully) so I'll keep it short.
For those who remember my rash, it's not ringworm! Dermy is now confused and wants a biopsy. Will see how long on nhs now.
Also, found out fri that my lupus anticoagulant is weakly positive. have to book for another test in 8 weeks.
Hope you are all having a good weekend, and will talk more soon.

Sorry to hear you're feeling so ill - but thanks for posting despite that to update us.

Sounds like the doctors may be making some progress in diagnosing and monitoring you with the blood test, and repeating it in 2 months time, and wanting to biopsy the ringworm-esque rash. Hopefully you can get into the dentist soon & if he has no ideas then definitely take that problem to your GP as well as it can have a medical rather than dental cause.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Viridian, if you have a dry mouth it predisposes you to parotitis, swelling of the parotid salivary glands. I have had this myself. Started on one side then spread to the other. I am not saying this is what you have but do bear it in mind as a possibility.

Hi Viridian

Sorry to hear about your jaw. I hope your dentist can help tomorrow. It sounds like things are definitely moving forward towards a diagnosis on the other fronts.

Thanks for keeping us updated and let us know what you find out about the jaw problem.

Gentle hugs

Dentist on Thurs. Receptionist said they cant do anything because I should've gone to them first. Gah! It was a small lump on my jawbone then! Anyway, when I went to doc (friday), she said might be an infection, go to the dentist and gave me some antibiotics and painkillers. Dentists was closed, and no emergency number. That night went to A+E because of the excruciating pain. They said, you're on the highest painkillers, go home. No xray, nothing. I cried in front of everyone. Felt such an idiot! Sat morning, sick from 4am til 10am (probably took too many painkillers by that point) and blood coming from the gum. Face swelled to immense proportions on that side. Pain was eased though.
Now, I just look like I have a golfball in my cheek! Very hard lump. Tooth not hurting. Weird. My tooth only hurt on friday, and only if you pressed on the top. Back of my head feels like someone hit it again though!
Guess I'll find out on Thursday.

Funnily enough Lola, this is the wettest my mouth has ever been! Lol!

Anyway, definitely good that they are following up about rash and bloods. It's taken them months to figure out it's not ringworm, and treatment after treatment, but I was so happy when he gave me the all clear!

Anyway, enough babbling, and thank you for all your kind words.
:)
