Hi guys, it's been a while since I've been on the boards, a lot has been going on with me and my family.

I have a question....

Does this ultrasound result make any sense to any of you?

"The size of the kidneys is lower limits of normal (I understand this). Mild prominence of the left pelvicaliceal system". I have googled this and can't find a definition of what mild prominence means.

Any ideas?

Just my guess... but I'd guess it's larger than would be expected compared to other parts of the kidney. Hope your doc can help you understand what this means for you...
