Recently diagnosed with Lupus. Need help understanding my labs.

ANA, IFA - Positive
ANA Direct, with reflex cascade - Positive
Homogeneous pattern - 1:80
Nucleolar pattern - 1:80
Anti-Centromere B antibodies - 4.4 high
Creatinine serum - 1.09 high
RA latex turbid - <10.0 normal
Urine hemoglobin - trace
Urine nitrite - positive

Hi, have you spoken to the doctor who diagnosed you about your lab results? Usually they go over them with you. You have a positive ANA with 2 patterns, both Homogeneous and Nucleolar. It is only mildly positive but you have Anti Centromere B antibodies which mean that it isn't a false positive.
It looks like you may have a urine infection also and that you have normal RA antibodies.

@debatat Yes, my PCP did go over the labs with me in layman's terms. I'm just trying to do my research before going to the rheumatologist. When I was with my PCP I was a little too overwhelmed to ask questions. Thank you for the explanation
