Hello Emmy

The SED/ESR and the CRP are measures of inflammation, but they are not specific to lupus and can be from any cause, anything that revs the immune system up such as infections. However they could indicate chronic inflammatory disease like lupus or a flare of disease so they have possible significance.

Anemia means basically not enough red blood cells so too little oxygen. There are several possible causes of anemia, or types if you like. Iron deficiency is common in young menstruating women or in restircted diets. Some sorts of anemia are diseases in themselves or can be caused by another disease and improve when the basic cause is treated. It is important to treat it as early as possiblebecause it can cause a wide range of symptoms affecting general health such as tiredness, ranging to severe cognitive problems.

I don't know what 'high with blood cells' could mean.

:)
