Life Insurance Policies - Canada

I'm a little nervous. Our new Insurance Agent is coming by this afternoon because our 10 term is almost up. I am afraid that they are not going to insure me after she see's me in a wheel chair. Or if they do, the premiums will be so high we won't be able to afford it. We are living off of my long term disability right now and it is tough making ends meet. My husband had to quit his job to take care of me.

I have my work policy, but I think it is only one years pay. We have teenagers that still have to go to College or University (not that I'm planning to "kick the bucket" anytime soon!

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm in Ontario in case it is different for each province.
