 aarh! I've lost the balloons I need to decorate the house as its my son's (4th son) 3rd Birthday tomorrow! I had them only 1 hour ago!

I do have blank spares but these were ones with no.3 etc printed on them!

Hey ho, I will have to donate them to someone else if I cant find them. I certainly am not going to get pregnant again for future use of them!

Sounds like a fun party - can my daughter and I come too? :)

Maybe you can save them for your son's 33rd birthday then... just
tape a couple of them together for a nice 33! *laughs*

Have a fun party tomorrow - & happy birthday to your son!

 Alwin!! What would I be doing in my knicker drawer early evening!

:lol:Julsie! I would definately be in the fridge - not there though!

:rotfl: Maia - If you live local pop on by! Your daughter would love the magic show!

I must admit after losing my other sons party invitations not so long ago (he hid them overnight in his toy box in fear that I would invite a girl), I gave up looking! My kids love mischief!:hehe:

Thanks everyone!

Ok Lesley...Here's my experience... (dont tell anyone )

Try the:

rubbish drawer in the TV cabinet
the second drawer in the TV cabinet (you get the picture?)
the hall table (and behind it)
the cutlery drawer
the hall press (God Help you if its in there!)
the bedside locker (under the remote control for the portable dvd)
the medicines drawer
the second medicines drawer
the third medicines drawer
the freezer
the wash basket (and behind it)
the tool box

If I think of anywhere else I will post!

Good Luck!

At 11.30pm last nght just checking in on son and saw he had a plastic medical box (dress up item!) on his bed!

Thought it would bang his head in the night so I moved it off the bed!

Heard a rattly noise inside, opened it  what did I find - THE BALLOONS:eek: !

At least now I can decorate the Marque tent today!

Have a nice weekend everyone and thanks for your good wishes and suggestions!

Well Lesley - you might be in there to put a pair on so you could leave the house to look outside for the balloons ... or something.

Perhaps you just don't wear any in the evenings ... who am I to judge?

Or you might think for a CHANGE you could put some on in the evening.

The party was a success thankfully and the first guests were the last to leave - 5 hour party in total! Nathan loved the magic show, eating food and playing with all his friends (16 kids including mine!).

I will pay for it tomorrow, but it was well worth the effort (started paying for it health wise the day before!). I'm off for 2 specialist check-ups on Monday - I think it pays health wise to visit them when not at your best!

Roll on number 3 sons 6th Birthday in June, we have invited 20, plus mine then plus the extra siblings that always come - last year we ended up with 40+ kids and about 15 adults:eek: :hehe: - but it was fun! I have 4 weeks to recover:rotfl: .

Hope you have had a lovely weekend so far - perhaps a bit more restfull than mine!:hehe:

Love Lesley

PS - Alwin, won't comment more on the knicker front people may get the wrong idea about me!:wink2:

Well done Lesley,
I may have said this before but once I couldn't find our new house keys.I looked everywhere, had all the contents of the bins out, checked all drawers ,cars, even drove to places I'd been the day before.Asked the kids if they'd had them....no.Rang the police to see if anyone had handed them in...nothing.Gave up and went to the phone to call a locksmith to come and change the locks, glanced down at the piano stool (the one place I hadn't checked) lifted the lid and lo and behold ,there they were!:hissy: mischievous 5yr old had put them there!

Julsie, I'm glad you have the same problem with your kids!

We have two missing renault keys (1 went missing 2.5 years ago the other 1 year ago) - This cost us over 200 to get new ones- plus the hassle of getting the car to garage (my tow) to code keys with for the car. Recently husbands BMW key, house keys, office key (6 months ago)! Many other things too!

I think the keys are down to our youngest putting this in the bin!
