I've just found out that someone I know who has Lupus (Kay Lockley) has been selected for a spot on the fourth plinth at Trafalgar square

Kay will take to the plinth in Trafalgar Square on July 26 from 7pm-8pm and welcomes all support.

Hi, very pleased to find this thread,
I am taking to the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square as part of Antony Gormleys One & Other Art Project on Sunday 26th July 7.00pm - 8.00 pm to raise lupus awareness, and will be writing lupus facts, figures and info.
I am also looking for some heart warming inspirational quotes, either your own or a famous one, so please let me know if you have any ideas

I am overwhelmed with the support I have been recieving from everyone

Hi, thanks for the above comments, I did my hour as planned on the Fourth Plinth Trafalgar Square 7.00 pm Sunday 26th July.
I was nervous about speaking in front of so many people, but concentrated on the friendly, smiling faces of my family and friends below. I was lucky to meet other lupus sufferers who came to join in.
It was a great experience and I am glad I did it, there has been really positive feedback and a lot more awareness was raised for Lupus, even before my hour began, through media interest. Radio interview and national and local newspapers.
