At a meeting in Sussex Uk I met a woman called Suvarna who is an Open University post-graduate psychology student. She was looking for male and female participants to help her in her research to examine the impact of living with an illness like lupus and other chronic conditions.

She also has a lupus diagnosis herself.

Today I emailed her to redirect her to this site and also to take part myself in the study.

I did suggest that she contact one of the moderators first before going ahead and posting here.

Claire T? would it be a good idea to contact you?.

The leaflet she has given me is comprehensive and the story of her own experiences had a huge impact on me and her study seems spot on and worthwhile.:) She is also a very lovely person:)

I will wait for her to contact this site.

Nicky:

This is nice news, and I am sure if approved she will be able to recruit from this board as we are all out here with this "chronic" illness. I would suggest you have her contact Joanne, Clare T. has resigned as moderator.

Although I have now become a moderator, I am a newbie and would prefer that she contact one of the more experienced of our group.

Thanks - Stephanie
