It does seem to go more with teaching hospitals. I had photos taken of the inside of my stomach and jejunum when I was endoscoped for coeliac disease many years ago and they have stayed in my file. It was rather interesting to see them and have the gastroenterologist actually explain exactly what was going on in them.

Along with my recent skin biospy and various other tests, I was told to have medical photos taken (with my consent, of course
). I agreed
Anyway, just wondering - how many people here had to have medical photos taken? Is it 'standard procedure'?
