Mum died . . .

Hi just to let you all know, my mum died this morning after a long and hard fight against breast cancer. My brother, dad, nan and I were with her holding her hand for the past two days as she slipt away peacefully in a local hospice after being admitted there to 'play' with her meds. It happened rather suddenly and quickly. At the moment, I feel quite numb, and am exhausted after only having 2 hours of sleep in the past 48. We are assured she was comfortable and wasnt in pain which is a comfort to us. x

Dearest Hattycat,
I am sorry your Mum has gone but it sounds like the very best sort of passing. I am so glad you and yours were there for her. When you stop feeling numb we will all be here to listen.
