Mum died . . .

Hi just to let you all know, my mum died this morning after a long and hard fight against breast cancer. My brother, dad, nan and I were with her holding her hand for the past two days as she slipt away peacefully in a local hospice after being admitted there to 'play' with her meds. It happened rather suddenly and quickly. At the moment, I feel quite numb, and am exhausted after only having 2 hours of sleep in the past 48. We are assured she was comfortable and wasnt in pain which is a comfort to us. x

Sending my sincere sympathy to you and your family.
I am sorry to hear of your mum's death.

I know how hard it is to lose someone close to you. Please try to get some rest when you can. Don't push yourself hard.

Hard enough to loose a parent but this time of the year is especially tough.

Oh dear, I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I know how much your mom meant to you and I know she was proud to have you by her side.

Hello Vikki

I am glad you and your family had the opportunity to spend time with your mother before she died, and even more glad she seems to have died peacefully and pain free. None of us can ask more. I believe you achieved the 2 most important things for her. You were there when it mattered and she was comfotable. Sleep well and take it easy when ever you get the opportunity.

I am sorry to hear your mother lost her battle. My thoughts will be with you and your family during this difficult time.

Your mother was very fortunate to have such a loving family caring for her during her illness. She would want you all to continue on and be happy.
