my grandmother...

My grandmother, who is in her late 60's, has had lupus from as far back as I can remember. I would like to raise money for the lupus foundation, in her memory, when she is gone, as she doesn't have very long left, but I do not know how to go about this. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be so grateful.

Like joan I am not sure which country you live in but I do know if you are a church goer that most of the churches will also help you with this and are very good at helping in these areas.
I did want to tell you that I am so sorry about your grandmother and do know the feeling. We are all here for you when you need us and would love to help you through this when you need the help. It is never easy to see a loved one sick and know the outcome is not always going to be a good one for those left behind.
I know that silent auctions are really big in the midwest United States. You get people to donate things like dinner for two at a resturant, a free night at a hotel, or gift cert. from stores. Then you have the auction and the money raised would then be for the lupus gift in her name. I hope you are feeling as well as you can.
