I lost my mom this past Jan to Lupus and I'm sort of trying to figure out ways to raise money as well. I ordered 50 of the Lupus Awareness bracletes and I'm going to try to sell those. I also ordered the Lupus bookmarks and the "Someone you know has Lupus" posters. I'm going to be raising money for the walk later this year.
Some other things I may try is a bake sale (or donut sale), selling candy, and putting a jar on my desk with a sign on it about Lupus and my mom. That is my summer goal - to raise money and awareness about Lupus. I may also do a garage sale and put all the proceeds towards Lupus.
