Hi Everyone,
My husband will be going to his GI doctor January 27th for a follow up appointment after his recent bout with being hospitalized.
The doctor said he will do blood work and check pancreatic enzymes, another blood test that is a pancreatic tumor marker and schedule a Endoscopic Ultra Sound for February. He wants to make sure the pancreas is not inflamed when they do this procedure.
Apparently this is the best diagnostic test to diagnose pancreatic cancer, especially in the beginning stages along with the blood tests.
Fingers crossed it will go well. He can do a biopsy of the area in question and have results back with in 2-3 days.
I hope the end result is good.:worried::worried:
Fingers crossed.:wink2:
